Description
The graveyard wall, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, features a small 20th-century extension at the south-west corner. It is constructed from squared stone, primarily using re-used medieval material, with cut dressings. The wall forms a roughly rectangular enclosure, with the north wall of the ruined church or chapel making up the eastern part of the north side. The wall has a rounded south-east corner and a rectangular extension at the south-west corner. It stands 1.5 to 2 metres high and has low-pitched coping, with gateways located on the west and south sides. Earlier foundations can be seen projecting from beneath the external face of the wall at the south-east and south-west corners.
