Description

The stable block to the north-west of Summer Rods dates from the mid-19th century and is two storeys high. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings, featuring coped verges, kneelers, and ball finials. The main block has a scrolled pediment with three windows, a segmental shape, and includes a clock. There is a gabled extension topped with a weathervane turret. To the north, there is a cottage that is set back, made of ashlar and featuring two glazing bar sash windows on the first floor.
