Description

Woodley Field Farmhouse dates to the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is arranged in an 'L' shape, with a long two and one-storey range of farm buildings attached to the east. The farmhouse is constructed of painted rubble with quoins. The west front has one window, with a gabled half-dormer above featuring a terracotta finial and round-headed sash glazing in the dormer window. A door is located to the right of the window. A large, partly projecting stack is situated on the north gable end. The south gable end is blank, while a two-window, two-storey extension is situated to the right on the south side. Horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars are present throughout, except for the ground-floor window on the right. The contemporary farm buildings to the east are not part of this listing.
