Description
Fairshaw Farmhouse is an early to mid 19th century building that stands two storeys tall and features four windows on the first floor. The structure is constructed of rubble, with some parts rendered, and includes quoins. It has late glazing sash windows, with a small casement window located above the porch, which is gabled. The farmhouse is notable for its 17th or early 19th century doorcase that is set into the porch, showcasing classical cyma moulding. Above the doorcase, there are two scrolled ends of a segmental broken pediment, arranged as a pointed arch over the small porch window.
