Description
Lanehead and attached stables is a house and stables built in the early to mid-18th century and early 19th century. The structure is made of squared stone with pantiled roofs and old brick chimneys.
The house is two storeys high and has three bays, while the attached single-storey cartshed and stable on the right has five bays. The central gabled porch features a four-panel door, and the ground floor has 12-pane sash windows. The first floor includes 9-pane sashes in the outer bays and a 16-pane sash above the door. The roof is steeply pitched with a catslide at the rear, end stacks, and reverse stepped gables. The walls are three feet thick.
The attached stables have a wide opening to the cartshed on the left, and to the right, there are two doorways leading to the stables and two windows. All openings currently lack their carpentry.
