Description
Gallows Hill Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that was remodeled in 1822 for John Trevelyan of Wallington. It is constructed of roughly-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance has a panelled door with an overlight above it. The ground floor has sash windows, while the upper floor features 4-pane Yorkshire sashes. The roof is gabled, with a corniced stack on the left end and a renewed stack on the right end. On the left side, the older masonry of the 18th-century house is visible. The rear of the farmhouse has a catslide roof.
