Description
Nos 114, 116, and 116A Marygate are a group of small houses from the early 19th century, now featuring later 19th-century shop fronts. The buildings are constructed of ashlar, with some areas stuccoed, and have a red pantiled roof with old brick chimneys. They stand two storeys high and include four small shop fronts. Above these, there are five and four sash windows, along with a decorative band under the eaves. Note that No 120 does not exist and was formerly located in the yard at the rear.
