Description

The Old Grammar School, rebuilt in 1820, is part of a former bakery. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded cornice and scroll footstones. The building is two storeys tall, with a blank gable end facing the street. The main front is partly obscured by a modern single-storey structure, but a round-arched doorway remains visible, along with two blocked windows on the ground floor and three 24-paned sash windows on the upper floor.
