Description
Miller's Antiques is a shop that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century. The windows are from the 18th century, and the shop front was added in the late 19th century. The exterior is finished in painted roughcast with painted ashlar dressings, and it has a pantiled roof edged with stone slates, along with old brick chimneys.
The building is a single storey with a basement, featuring irregular openings. To the right, there is a boarded door that leads to the basement, which is full height at this end due to the slope of the land. There are three 12-pane sash windows.
On the left side, the shop door is flanked by shop windows that have decorative pilasters and dentil cornices. The shop front to the left of the door, located in the gable end, has a 16-pane window. Above this is an earlier 17th century or early 18th century window set in a moulded frame. The shop front to the right of the door features plate glass with a dentil cornice.
The roof is steeply pitched and gabled, with thin raised coping, kneelers on the left gable, and end stacks.
