Description

The Terrace Cafe and Grill Bar, originally a house, dates back to the 18th century with a shop front added in the 19th century. The building is rendered and features a pantiled roof along with old brick chimneys. It has an L-shaped plan, is two stories high, and consists of three bays.

On the ground floor, the shop front occupies the left two bays and includes panelled pilasters and a moulded cornice. The other windows are renewed four-paned sashes set in raised surrounds. The roof is steeply pitched with gabled ends, featuring reverse-stepped gables and end stacks.

Inside, the roof is supported by 18th-century collar-beam trusses.
