Description
This building is a bastle house dating from the 16th century or early 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of large rubble with massive quoins and stone dressings, topped by a slate roof and featuring a stone stack on the left gable. The front elevation has two storeys, two windows, and a central door. The 18th-century doorway has a chamfered surround, while the windows are 19th-century sashes set within 18th-century openings, complete with tooled splayed lintels and slightly projecting tooled sills. There are remains of a blocked first-floor door located above the front door. The rear elevation has been altered.
