Description

Nos. 30 and 32 Newgate Street are shops with offices above, dating from the early to mid-18th century. They are constructed of brick in English Garden Wall Bond and feature a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has four bays. The ground floor includes shop fronts separated by a six-panel door leading to the offices. The shop on the left has a late 19th-century front with fluted pilasters. Above, there are 12-pane sash windows with wedge lintels and projecting sills. The roof is gabled and has tumbled-in brickwork, with stacks at each end.
