Description

The farmbuilding range and attached walls located to the east and northeast of Hazon Hall date from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. The structure is built from squared rubble with cut dressings. The roofs vary: the foldyard's east range features pantiles in the center and Welsh slates on the sides, while the cartshed granary has Welsh slates on the west side and 20th-century asbestos sheets on the east. Other sections are covered with 20th-century synthetic red tiles.

The layout includes a foldyard group that opens to the west. From the west end of the south range, a cartshed extends southward, with a wall running to the east end of Hazon House. The single-storey east range has a taller central section with two segmental arches and raised reverse-stepped coping on the gables, while the side parts each have one boarded door. The north range features two segmental arches with a boarded door to the left and a hipped roof to the left. The south range has a boarded door flanked by part-slatted windows. The yard is enclosed on the west by walls with low arched coping that slopes down to a central gateway.

The cartshed originally had an open arcade supported by monolithic piers and timber lintels but is now fitted with boarded double doors. The far right section is two-storey with inserted panelled double doors beneath a 12-pane overlight and raised reverse-stepped gable copings. The right return displays a 16-pane Yorkshire sash window and a part-slatted window under a timber lintel above. An attached wall, approximately 3 meters high, is located to the left and features a boarded door along with three old looped finials from the house on its coping. The cartshed range is included for its group value.
