Description

The drinking fountain located to the south of the central range of Hexham County Primary Infant and Junior School was built around 1912. It is a small cast iron structure topped with a domed roof, featuring elaborate scrollwork and cusped arches. The corners are adorned with brackets over Corinthian columns, which have miniature dragons on them. In the center, there is a central column with a wide shallow bowl and tap urns positioned in the middle.
