Description

This dovecote, located approximately 50 yards north of Buckton House, is likely from the late medieval period. It is constructed from random rubble and features a circular, tapering shape with a domed top. There is an offset at about 10 feet high, marked by a projecting course of flat stones. The structure is partly collapsed at the rear and is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
