Description

The coach house to the east of the Northumberland Arms dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from roughly-squared stone, featuring tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three irregular bays. There are two segmental carriage arches with renewed double doors, and 12-pane sash windows, some of which have been renewed, all with slightly projecting sills. The left gable is coped, and there are two ridge stacks: one is a corniced left stack made of ashlar, while the right stack is of later brick.
