Description
Berrington South Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a Welsh slate roof and features 19th-century brick chimneys. The main block is two storeys high and has three bays, with lower wings projecting to either side.
The entrance consists of a Victorian panelled door set within a 19th-century gabled porch that has kneelers and flat coping. The windows are 12-pane sashes. To the right, there is a single-storey, two-bay wing that has two windows with shutters below and eight small panes above. To the left, there is a one-bay wing with a 12-pane sash window.
The roof is gabled with thin raised coping and end stacks, and the gables are reverse-stepped. There are also 12-pane sashes on the returns and at the rear, along with an 18-pane staircase window.
