Description

The Terrace is a row of three houses, originally four in number, built in the early 19th century and altered in the early 20th century. The houses are constructed of square-tooled stone with cut stone quoins and dressings, and have a slate roof with yellow brick stacks. The design is of nine bays and is irregular. Number 1 has a half-glazed door within an alternating-block stone surround; numbers 2 and 3 have four-panel doors, also in alternating-block surrounds. The windows are single and paired 12-pane sash windows, now renewed, but set in stone surrounds. The gables are coped, and there are end and ridge stacks. A contemporary outshut is located at the rear. The property is included on the list for its group value.
