Description

The garden walls to the south of Laundry Cottage, likely built between 1908 and 1909 by Sir Edwin Lutyens, are constructed of squared stone with cut dressings. The low wall features flat coping and encloses the garden. On the east side, there is an exedra where the wall incorporates a monolithic pier that serves as the entrance to the stable yard. These walls are included for their group value.
