Description

The Seven Stars is a house that was formerly an inn, dating from the late 18th century. It features a front made of squared stone with near-ashlar quality, a squared stone right return, and a rubble rear elevation. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and has brick stacks. The building is two storeys tall and has three symmetrical bays. It includes a plinth, sill bands, and rusticated quoins. The central entrance has a half-glazed door with a three-pane overlight, and the windows are renewed 18-pane sash types, all set in raised stone surrounds. The gables have coping that returns on deep footstones, and the end stacks have been rebuilt.

Originally a coaching inn, it became a private house around 1945. There is a 20th-century single-storey extension on the left and an altered rear wing, neither of which are considered of special interest.
