Description
The garden walls at the north-west corner of the walled garden, along with an attached cottage, date from the 18th century, with the cottage featuring elements from the early 20th century that may include older, possibly medieval materials. The walls are constructed of brick in a mixed bond and topped with stone coping. The cottage is primarily brick, except for the west wall, which is made of rendered rubble. The roof is covered with Welsh slate. The walls stand approximately 3 meters high and have a flat coping. While the attached cottages are not particularly noteworthy, the west wall, which is a meter thick, could be part of the medieval hall.
