Description
West Lodge is a lodge dated 1861, probably designed by Dobson. It is constructed of coursed stone with ashlar dressings and features a high-pitched Welsh slate roof, showcasing a Neo-Tudor style. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays. The central bay is gabled and slightly projects, with a canted extruded porch to the right that has a boarded door. The windows include 1, 2-, and 3-light iron-latticed casements, except for the sashes on the left return. All openings are framed in chamfered surrounds, and the stone coped gables are complemented by stepped ridge stacks.
