EGLINGHAM Al NU 12 SE East side, off) 3/145 Stable and coach- house range, with attached walls 50 metres north-west of Charlton Hall GV II

Stable and coach house. Late C18/early C19 in 2 builds. Rubble with tooled- and-margined quoins and dressings; Welsh slate roof. Elevation to stable yard in 2 sections. Left part is older coach house with boarded double doors under tall segmental arch: right part has 2 storeys, 3 irregular bays; stable door, boarded door, 16-pane sash, part-slatted window; and 2 low slatted windows directly beneath eaves. All openings in alternating-block surrounds, the windows with slightly-projecting sills. 3-step mounting block on right of stable door. Coped gables; small stack vent on ridge. 6-panel door on right return. Attached flat-coped wall to left with gateway returns to join rear of outbuilding range (q.v.) attached to Hall rear wing.
