Description

The ha-ha wall around the mausoleum at Seaton Delaval Hall dates from around 1766. It is constructed of rock-faced stone and forms a circular enclosure around the mausoleum. The wall stands 3 metres high and features an overhanging square coping. To the west, there is a large slab that marks the location of the former bridge access.
