Description

This is a late 18th-century house, altered in the later 19th century. It is constructed of squared stone with a synthetic blue slate roof and rendered stacks. The house has two storeys and three irregular bays. A sill band runs along the first floor. The main entrance is a five-panel door with a margined overlight, which is sheltered by an arched ornamental wrought-iron hood with an ornate finial. All windows are sash windows, with a short upper leaf; the ground floor windows have a two-pane lower leaf and slightly projecting sills. An ornamental 19th-century rainwater head and pipe are located at the left end of the building. The right gable is coped with a kneeler and finial, and there are end stacks. The rear elevation features twin, late 19th-century gabled wings with plain sash windows.
