Description
Newham South Building is a farmhouse dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. At the center, there is a stone porch with a cornice and a parapet that displays a crescent emblem of the Duke of Northumberland. The windows are 12-pane sashes set in chamfered reveals with projecting sills. The eaves are made of stone, and the hipped roof is topped with two corniced ridge stacks, each with four conjoined shafts. The building has two-bay returns that maintain a similar architectural style. At the rear, there is a lower service wing.
