Description

The sundial, located to the west of the Old Vicarage in Embleton, is likely from the late 19th century. It is made of cut stone and features a bronze dial. The round shaft has a moulded top and supports a bronze dial that is signed by George Stockton from Shields, along with a decorative gnomon. This sundial is included for its group value with the surrounding structures.
