Description

This bridge, located approximately 440 yards northeast of Belsay Castle, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a single segmental arch, creating a hump-backed profile. The bridge has low parapets and low end piers that are adorned with bands and pyramidal caps.
