Description
St Thomas's Farmhouse, dated 1829, is a two-storey building with three windows located on Clayport Street. The structure is built from ashlar stone and features a moulded string course at the first floor level. It has a slate roof with coped verges and two ashlar chimneys. The windows are glazing bar sash types, paired with mullions, with larger windows on the ground floor that have Tudor labels above them. The central doorway has a splayed surround and a Tudor label, with shield stops; the left shield is "barry" and the right shield is carved with "H.C. Selby 1829". The south gable wall includes a blind window on each floor, featuring two lights with mullions. The ground floor hood mould is raised to serve as a cill for the first floor, which also has a hood.
