Description

The Eyecatcher in Swansfield Park Wall, located on the west side near 'Eastview', is an early 19th-century structure that stands approximately 8 feet high and 20 feet long. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a crenellated parapet with obelisk end pinnacles, one of which is topped with a metal acorn. The wall has a modillion cornice and displays three shields, one of which is set in a foiled circle. The square piers supporting the pinnacles are adorned with merlons at wall level and have trefoil-headed panels with gabled head moulds.
