Description
Mills headstone, located 20 metres west of the Church of St. Paul, was erected in 1877 and is signed by H. Dobson of Felton. It is made of sandstone and features a gabled stone topped with a Celtic cross. The inscription commemorates Jacob Mills, stating it was "erected by his fellow workmen as a token of their appreciation of his lifelong and fearless advocacy of the principles of Unionism," and includes an inserted red sandstone star. This headstone is included for its historical interest.
