Description
This boundary stone, likely from the 18th century, is made of tooled sandstone and stands 0.60 metres high with a segmental top. It features incised Roman letters "M H" (for Mount Healy) on the east side and "P H" (for Pauperhaugh) on the west side. The stone marks the north-west corner of a 0.071 acre detached portion of Mount Healey township, as indicated on the first edition of the Ordnance Survey 6-inch to 1 mile map. It is located 80 metres from the road, on the north side of Debdon track.
