Description

Tumbleton Boat House is a boathouse built in the second half of the 19th century for Lord Armstrong. It is constructed from rock-faced stone and features large projecting quoins, with rock-faced-and-margined dressings and a pantile roof. The south elevation has one storey and two bays, with two-light mullioned windows that have wooden lattices. The left side of the building displays an open round arch, and similar windows are found at the rear. The boathouse is attractively located at the end of the lake.
