Description
This building is a garden pavilion and dovecote located about 40 yards west of Hallington Hall, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble with a stone slate roof and has a square plan with two storeys.
The ground floor features a plank door set in a raised surround. On the first floor, there is a wooden screen with six pigeon holes, also in a raised surround. The roof is pyramidal in shape.
On the right side, there is a ground-floor four-pane casement window in a raised surround, while the left side has a door leading into the dovecote. Inside, the dovecote contains brick nesting holes.
