Description

North Farm Cottage is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, now partly used for farm storage. It is constructed of random rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance consists of a plank door set within an alternating-block surround. The ground floor windows are 6-pane sashes with 19th-century lintels, while the first floor has smaller 8-pane Yorkshire sash windows. The roof is steeply pitched and has reverse crow-stepped gables, thin raised coping, and rebuilt brick end stacks.
