Description
Selah House is an early 19th-century building that has been altered in the late 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with stone dressings and features a slate roof and a rebuilt brick stack on the right gable. The house has three storeys and consists of one bay. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a margined overlight set in a raised stone surround, and there is a late 19th-century canted bay window. On the first floor, there is a 12-pane sash window in a beaded box with a slightly projecting sill and lintel, while the second floor has a shortened sash window of a similar design. This building is included for its group value with the Hotspur Hotel.
