Description
Oakerland is a building that was converted in 1829 from an older farmhouse. The south front features two storeys with five windows on the first floor and two three-light bays on the ground floor. It is constructed from rubble with quoins and has triple spaced modillions at the eaves. The roof is hipped, and the windows are glazing bar sash types with raised surrounds. The entrance is wide and includes sidelights, with a drip moulding above a panel that reads "W.I. - D.W." over "18-29".
On the east front, there are four windows and a gabled projection to the south. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a six-panel door with a bolection surround, alongside a wide former entrance to the left that is now mostly glazed. Below the gable, there is a large segmental-headed opening, also mostly glazed and with a raised surround. The rear of the building features a courtyard formed by 'L' plan outbuildings.
