Description
South-East Farmhouse and cottage with an attached cartshed, built around 1840 with a 18th-century core. The structure is made of ashlar stone and has a Welsh slate roof. The farmhouse is designed in a T-plan with an L-plan cottage attached to the right.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. It features a central boarded and battened door with a small-paned overlight above it. The windows are renewed 16-pane sash windows. The roof is gabled with corniced end stacks.
The cottage has two windows and a 4-panel door to the left, along with four renewed 16-pane sash windows. It also has a gabled roof with a corniced right end stack.
The attached cartshed on the right is a single storey with five bays, supported by square piers and lintels.
At the rear of the house, there is an older wing made of squared masonry with 18th-century kneelers. An outshut features three 12-pane Yorkshire sashes and a cartouche dated 1723.
