Description

The fountain, located in the walled garden 400 metres west of Mitford Hall, is likely from the early 19th century. It is made of ashlar and features three superimposed bowls that decrease in size, each with gadrooned bases and an egg-and-dart rim moulding. The fountain sits in a circular pool that has a similarly moulded surround.
