Description

The Boys' Brigade Headquarters, originally a Wesleyan Chapel, was built in 1884. It features an ashlar facade with a brick rear and a Welsh slate roof, designed in the Perpendicular style. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central bay is flanked by buttresses and includes two Tudor-arched doors with multi-moulded surrounds and ogee hoodmoulds. Above these doors is a large five-light arched window with two transoms. The flanking bays each have two tiers of three-light windows, which are adorned with cusped ogee heads.
