Description

This pant, built in 1868 for the Duke of Northumberland, is located alongside the path to the church in Shilbottle village. It is constructed from tooled squared stone and features a small rectangular shape with a round-arched recess. The date is incised in the gable above the recess. The roof is made of large overlapping slabs with a roll-moulded ridge. Please note that the tap is missing.
