Description
The Craister and Taylor headstones, located 4 meters southeast of the porch of Holy Trinity Church, date from the late 18th century and are made of sandstone. The eastern headstone features a shaped, moulded top with a sunk quatrefoil and an inscription dedicated to George Craister, described as 'of Woddrington dog kennel', dated around 1781. The western headstone also has a shaped top and displays a well-cut inscription for William Taylor of Druridge, who died in 1779.
