Description

The Potts headstone, located 8 metres south-west of the parish church porch, is a mid-18th century sandstone headstone. It features a shaped top that encloses a relief-carved panel decorated with scrolly foliage, an open book, compasses, and pens. The inscription commemorates three sons of John and Ursula Potts, who died in 1727, 1741, and 1743.
