Description
Friars Well, located 50 metres west of Friars Well Lodge, is a wellhead that likely dates from the early 19th century in its current form. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a circular surround with an internal step and a shaped lip on the west side. In 1816, parts of the conduit that carried water to Hulne Friary were discovered and removed.
