Description
Corner Cottage is an 18th-century cottage constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and brick stacks. The south elevation is a single storey with three irregular bays. It features two 12-pane sash windows and a 9-pane sash window to the right, all of which have been renewed. The right end of the cottage displays raised reverse-stepped gable coping, and the end stacks have been rebuilt. The rear elevation includes a boarded door flanked by 3-pane casements, with two paired casements to the right, one of which is located in a former doorway. There is a 20th-century extension to the northeast, and the adjacent cottage to the west has been altered, but neither of these is of special interest.
