Description

Lowford Bridge is a bridge built in 1836 through public subscription. It is constructed of ashlar and features three broad segmental arches with rusticated voussoirs and triangular cutwaters. At the base of the plain parapet, there is a broad band that sharply splays out at each end of the bridge, terminating in square piers topped with pyramidal caps.
