Description
Bridge Way is a house that has been converted into three flats. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and was raised in height in the early 19th century, with the conversion to flats occurring around 1978. The lower part of the building is constructed from heavy rubble with roughly-shaped quoins, while the top floor features smaller rubble with tooled quoins, along with tooled lintels and sills. The roof is made of Welsh slate.
The building has three storeys and three bays. On the far right, there is an inserted six-panel door with a plain overlight, accompanied by small windows to the right and above. The ground floor features plain sash windows, with the central window being located in what was formerly a door opening. There are several blocked openings, including an upper door on the far left. The gables are coped, with a stepped-and-banded stack on the left end and a truncated stack on the right end.
At the rear, there is a flat-roofed pebbledashed extension that is not of interest.
