Description
This is a stone coffin and lid located about 3.5 metres west of the Church of St. John the Baptist. It is possibly from the 11th century and is made of sandstone. The coffin is a large, monolithic, wedge-shaped structure. The thick lid features a raised cross with a Celtic head design.
