Description
Jessamine House is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of Flemish-bond brick and features ridged concrete roof tiles along with rebuilt brick chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and three bays. The openings are set under rubbed-brick flat arches, with windows that have projecting painted stone sills. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, flanked by replaced two-pane sash windows. Above, there are three replaced twelve-pane sash windows, with the central window being slightly narrower than the others.
The roof is low-pitched and has a brick verge on the right side, along with end stacks. Jessamine House is included for its group value, although the adjacent No. 11 (Hillcrest) is not considered of special interest.
