Description
The Dunn tomb, located approximately 8 metres south of the door of the Church of St Michael, is a Grade II listed headstone dating from around 1718. It commemorates Tobyas Dunn, who died in 1718, and his wife Elizabeth. The tomb features a sandstone ashlar slab that stands about 0.4 metres high. The top of the slab is trefoil-moulded and is adorned with marigold and leaf patterns in low relief. The front panel is filled with an inscription, while the rear displays a skull and crossed bones, also in low relief.
